How to Reassign or Resend an Application

If a credit application is stuck at the Request to Complete Information stage — or if the wrong person was assigned — you can reassign the questionnaire to a new contact and resend it without losing any existing workflow data. This guide walks you through each step.

⚠ Before you begin: The application must be at the Request to Complete Information stage in the Workflow Overview. The Reassign button is only available at this stage. If the application is at a different stage, the button will not appear.
Open the Workflow Overview
Find the Application
Confirm: Workflow Stage is Request to Complete Information
Click the Reassign Button
Complete and Submit the Reassign Questionnaire Form
? Troubleshooting
| Reassign button not visible | The application is not at the Request to Complete Information stage. Check the Current Stage in the Workflow Details panel. Only this stage exposes the Reassign button. |
| Applicant didn't receive the email | Ask the applicant to check their spam or junk folder. If still not received, verify the email address entered was correct — if not, you will need to reassign again with the correct address. |
| Reassigned in error | This action cannot be undone from within the platform. Contact support@tradeshield.ai immediately for assistance. |
