Log in to the Trade Shield platform at app.fabricworkflows.com and navigate to Fabric Workflows > Workflow Overview from the left-hand navigation menu.

TRADE SHIELD DASHBOARD

In the Workflow Overview, use the Search workflows bar to find the application you wish to cancel. You can search by company name, applicant, or workflow reference.

ⓘ Tip: You can also filter by department or use "Assigned to me" to narrow down the list if you have many active workflows.

Click on the workflow in the list. The workflow details will appear on the right-hand side. At the top of the detail panel, click the Cancel button. This will open the Cancel Workflow confirmation dialog.

⚠ Note: The Cancel button is only available while the application is with the customer. If the application has moved into an Approval Level, the Cancel button will not appear — the assigned approver for that team will need to decline the application instead.

A Cancel Workflow dialog will appear. Enter a reason for the cancellation in the text field provided — this field is required. Once complete, click Cancel Workflow to confirm. The workflow will be marked as cancelled and will reflect this status in the Workflow Overview.

ⓘ Tip: Once cancelled, the workflow will show as Cancelled in the Workflow Overview list. This action cannot be reversed — if you need to proceed with the application, you will need to start a new workflow.
