Why Am I Getting a No Report / No Product Error?

⚠ What is this error?  This error occurs when a local (South African) application type is selected for an entity that is registered or operating outside of South Africa — or vice versa. It only appears at the point of initiating a new application.

Understanding the error

When you initiate a credit application, Trade Shield needs the workflow type to match the country where the applicant entity is registered. If there is a mismatch, the platform cannot assign the correct report product — and you will see the red banner below.

Select the correct workflow for the applicant's country

Navigate to Start Workflow in the left-hand sidebar. Select the workflow that matches where the applicant's entity is registered. For any entity outside South Africa, choose the Africa or International workflow.

Once the correct workflow is selected, you will arrive at the company search screen. Change the country dropdown to the applicant's country (e.g. Spain) and search for their company name or registration number.

Can't find them? Add the entity manually

If the international entity does not appear in the search results, click "Can't find [name]? Add it now" at the bottom of the results screen. This opens the Customer Details form where you can enter the applicant's information manually.

Complete all required fields and click Continue to proceed with the application — the No Product/Report error will no longer appear.
